How to get all your shared Google Calendars on your iPad or iPhone
Have you noticed that when you have access to a shared Google Calendar (i.e., a building calendar or team calendar) that sometimes it doesn’t show up on your iPad or iPhone? This is most likely due to your Google Sync Settings. Fortunately, it’s an easy fix!
First, check that you have your calendar added correctly on your iPad/iPhone
This is a slight change from the directions we have given to staff in the past. For all shared calendars to show up, you need to have your account added as a GOOGLE account, not an Exchange account. Luckily, you can delete and re-add accounts on your device without loosing any information. Directions on how to add an account can be found here.
- Open up Safari or Chrome on your iPad or Mac
- Go to: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/syncselect and sign in with your Westside Google credentials.
- Under Shared Calendars, check the calendars that you would like to sync with all of your devices. Scroll down and hit ‘Save’
That’s it! It may take a few minutes for the calendars to show up.
